A Repair Robot, going around a spaceship looking for its next work assignment. The robot design is based on childhood toy I used to love. One day I'll animate this scene!
I used Blender to model Repair Robot and the scene, using nodes to generate procedural textures.

The macahuitl was a weapon used by Aztec warriors. It's seen in movies such as Apocalypto, or described in the Aztec book series. It was traditionally made of wood lined with obsidian stones on its edges. I imagined what a steampunk version would look like by keeping the wood part but replacing the obsidian by an electric chainsaw.
Cuitlahuac was an Aztec emperor who fought against Spanish invaders in 1520.
A close up view of the macahuitl's leather handle, trigger, and huh... electro-activation thingy :)
The macahuitl was modeled in Blender. For the textures I used Substance Painter, and then retouched the images in Affinity Designer.
I tried to imagine what a flying version of Tesla's Cyber Truck could look like with a low polygon count. Which was straightforward since the real Cyber Truck is low poly anyway :) Made in Blender.
This is Gooey, the floating pet I wish I had in real life. Yes, he looks a bit sticky but he's great at fetching--unlike my dog. I made Gooey in Blender using procedural texture nodes.
